ペルセウス座は秋から冬にかけて北天に現れる英雄の星座です。最も明るい星ミルファク（α星、1.79等）はF型超巨星で、ペルセウス座α星団の中心に位置しています。
最も有名な星はアルゴル（β星、「悪魔の星」）で、約2日21時間の周期で2.1等から3.4等まで明るさが変化する食変光星です。この規則的な減光は、暗い伴星がアルゴルの前を横切ることで起こります。ペルセウス座流星群（8月中旬）の放射点としても知られています。
秋の夜、カシオペヤ座のW字から天の川に沿って南へ目を移すと、ペルセウス座の星々が見つかります。ミルファクを中心とした明るい星の集まりが目印です。カシオペヤ座とおうし座の間に位置しています。
ギリシャ神話の英雄ペルセウスは、ゼウスとダナエの子として知られています。メドゥーサを退治し、その帰路で岩に繋がれたアンドロメダ姫を海の怪物から救い出しました。アルゴルは、ペルセウスが手に持つメドゥーサの首にあたる位置にあります。
ペルセウス座はゲーム内で最後（15番目）に登場する星座で、5つのステージで構成されています。ミルファクから始まり、ミラム、アルゴル、アルドゥ、ζ星の順に進行します。
最終星座にふさわしい最高難度のステージが待ち受けています。全ステージをクリアすると、真のGravity Weaverの称号が与えられます。
Perseus appears in the northern sky from autumn through winter. Its brightest star Mirfak (alpha, mag 1.79) is an F-type supergiant at the heart of the Alpha Persei Cluster.
The most famous star is Algol (beta, "the Demon Star"), an eclipsing binary that varies from magnitude 2.1 to 3.4 over a period of about 2 days 21 hours. The dimming occurs when a fainter companion crosses in front. Perseus is also the radiant of the Perseid meteor shower in mid-August.
On autumn evenings, follow the Milky Way south from Cassiopeia's W to find Perseus. The bright cluster around Mirfak serves as a signpost. Perseus lies between Cassiopeia and Taurus.
Perseus, son of Zeus and Danae, is one of Greek mythology's greatest heroes. He slew Medusa and, on his return, rescued Princess Andromeda from a sea monster. Algol marks the position of Medusa's head in Perseus's hand.
Perseus is the fifteenth and final constellation, consisting of 5 stages. Starting from Mirfak, stages progress through Miram, Algol, Aldu, and Zeta Persei.
